The Buildable Materials aluminium screening system is available in a range of sizes to complement the aesthetics of your project, whether you are looking for privacy, transparency, airflow, or shade.

Step 1: Choose between 4 slat widths

  • 65mm slats
  • 75mm slats
  • 90mm slats
  • 150mm slats

Step 2: Choose between 2 options for the slat spacing

  • 9mm spacing provides extra privacy where required
  • 20mm spacing allows for better air flow and ventilation

Step 3: Calculate the number of slats you require

Once you have selected your slat width and spacing, use the height tables below to calculate how many slats you require for the height of your screen, fence or gate.

75 mm slats are our most popular size and are available in the greatest range of lengths, minimising material wastage.

Horizontal Slat Height Tables

Use the height tables to calculate how many slats you need for your horizontal slat fence, gate or screen.

Note that the height tables include a gap at the top and the bottom of the screen.
